Ways To Serve
Several Volunteer opportunities are available for men and women of all ages in Hillsboro’s Children’s Ministry. Volunteers staff nurseries, as well as teach Bible classes on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Volunteers are asked to make short-term commitments and typically work with partners or teams. All volunteers are required to pass a background check before working or teaching at Hillsboro.
Additionally, volunteers staff several children’s events throughout the year such as the Easter Egg Hunt, VBS, Hayrides, Trunk or Treat, and Breakfast with Santa. If you are interested in volunteering with any part of our Children’s Ministry, contact Sheila Montgomery.
Events
Hillsboro Kids hosts several special family & children’s events and service opportunities throughout the year. A neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt, Vacation Bible School, Family Campout, Fall Hayrides, Trunk Or Treat, and Breakfast with Santa are some of the special family-friendly times Hillsboro shares together each year.
