WHO WE ARE
Hillsboro Church of Christ are believers dedicated to serving God. We are a living example of God’s grace, loving and supporting each other as we navigate life together. When we say “we,” we’re not excluding anyone; we warmly invite you to worship and become part of The Hillsboro Loving Family.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We are the people of God, not a “denomination” you formally join. Instead, you’re added into the body of Christ or the church of Christ when you choose to become God’s own by comprehending and obeying the Gospel.
The Gospel, also referred to as the Good News of Jesus Christ, “redeems us” (Galatians 3:26-27). It narrates the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).
Hillsboro is Christ-centered and committed to an active worldwide mission. We seek to impact hearts globally with the transformative Gospel message, encouraging spiritual formation while navigating relevant real-world challenges.
If you’re interested in joining the body of Christ, let’s delve into a Bible study. There are 5 steps to becoming part of the Church of Christ:
- Hear the Gospel (Romans 10:17)
- Believe (Trust) in the Gospel (Hebrews 11:6)
- Repent (Turn away) of past sins (Acts 2:38)
- Confess Jesus Christ as God’s son (Matthew 10:32)
- Be buried in water baptism for the forgiveness of your sins (Acts 2:38)
Completing these steps means you’ve become God’s possession (1 Peter 2:9) and a member of Jesus Christ’s Kingdom (the saved).
