- Vision of Faith – Celebration Sunday | Sunday, August 24
The announcement by Bruce Church, one of our elders, on Sunday, August 3, was extremely encouraging to all Hillsboro members. $1,013,000 was purposed over a three-year period by our elders and ministers.
On Sunday, August 17, Gene Brosky made an announcement that our Encouragement Dinners raised a total of $1,125,318 over a three-year period by many of our peers who purposed early as an encouragement to others.
With the $1,000,000 secured at the end of 2007 for our Million Dollar Day, to date the total amount secured for our Vision of Faith Campaign is $3,138,319.
God is truly working among us, and we give Him the glory for generous hearts! We pray that God will touch all of our hearts as we consider the sacrificial commitments that the rest of us will make August 24, Celebration Sunday. We believe this will be a great day of generosity for the Hillsboro congregation.
